R.O.A.D. Academy is a muli-arts organisation developed for young people interested in careers within entertainment. Combining successful corporate business models with grass-root connections and knowledge of popular culture we bridge the gap between creativity and academia.
Our educational programme offers a nurturing environment for those who are resolutely serious about their careers. Our team is comprised of accomplished professionals who use their expertise and experience to ensure that we help improve their raw skills teaching them the theory / technical aspects of entertainment as well as the practical skills required for students to progress and achieve.
We ensure that the training in every department is absolutely relevant by welcoming, developing and promoting each individual talent. Each student learns at with their own pace and we aim to provide a service that will inspire, prepare and equip each individual which not only leave students self-reliant but also motivated and confident.
Areas of training:
EDUCATION
Using innovative techniques our training courses for young Vocalists/MCs, DJs/Hosts, Producers/Engineers and aspiring Music Business Professionals provide students ranging from beginner to advanced level access to professional tuition using industry-standard equipment to compose, record and perform the highest quality entertainment.
PERFORMING ARTS
Our Performance Arts Schools comprises of Drama and Dance Workshops/Schools offering professional services in Acting, Musical Theatre, Directing/Technical Theatre and Classic & Contemporary style of Dance.
We aim to strengthen young aspiring acts using both recognised and innovative methods of training to build on individuals skills and break-down the fundamentals of the arts; making it easier for prospective students to understand the Performance Arts industry.
PROFESSIONALS
Artists, Producers/Engineers, Songwriters and Industry Professionals attend group classes/sessions with with optional 1-2-1 mentoring and businesses development opportunities.
You can also subscribe to our FREE Webinars online via R.O.A.D. Media TV channel. This digital-age take on traditional academic seminars enables students to gain an insight into the entertainment business utilising the systems of multiple social networking platforms.
SHOWCASE / EVENTS
Hosting industry showcases and live events, we showcase vibrant events fusing together the creative artistry from all aspects of the entertainment industry providing a platform to have projects showcased in front of top industry A&R's, PR's and Professional Entertainment HR staff delivering the best and most diverse in entertainment.
